  "19th ANNUAL CONVENTION" - July 6-9, 2023

LOMA’s annual conventions were seriously impacted both by the COVID pandemic in 2020 and 2021 and by Hurricanes Laura and Ida.  Those LIVE ANNUAL CONVENTIONS were CANCELED but we offered great ONLINE/ON-DEMAND programs to those who had registered to attend the live events and to those not able to travel.  The 2022 meeting was moved into June to escape hurricane season and to also accommodate our new VCOM-LA block schedule.  LOMA 2023 was also scheduled for June but was moved to July recently.  All registrants for the 2023 ANNUAL CONVENTION will be able to view live and/or Online/On-Demand recorded presentations to fit their individual needs.  If unable to attend the live meeting, select the non-live option when you register.  Either way, the Online/On-Demand recorded presentations will be available to accommodate the schedule of all registrants for a minimum of 30 days after the live meeting. Plan your 2023 NOLA trip to the live meeting and get registered now!  Also reserve your room at the Royal Sonesta Hotel by the June 16 cutoff date.  Learn about everything you need to know about NOLA, all the fun things you can do, and the great food you can experience at https://www.neworleans.com/

 VCOM-LOUISIANA UPDATE
VCOM-Louisiana opened in 2020 on the ULM campus. Its operation is a huge stimulus to Louisiana’s osteopathic future as its mission addresses physician shortages in rural underserved Louisiana with 81% of the state designated as being a Health Professional Shortage Area by the Louisiana Department of Health. The Inaugural Class of 2024 will soon complete its second class year and will begin year three rotations!  Click here to view the amazing campus and take a Virtual Campus Tour.
