The Council on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) has just given its initial accreditation for the VCOM-LA campus currently under construction in Monroe on the ULM campus.  Our new COM plans to soon begin recruitment for enrollment of its inaugural class in the fall of 2020. The founding Dean is Ray Morrison, DO.  Dean Morrison can be contacted by email at [email protected] or by business phone at 318-342-7100.  He is currently working to develop staff, faculty, training sites, and identify future preceptors.  Job postings for an associate Dean, discipline chairs, and faculty are available at: https://www.vcom.edu/employment.  You can view the developing campus and read additional information here: https://www.vcom.edu/vcom-louisiana-live-stream

LOMA emerged in 2005 from decades of licensing discrimination against DOs in Louisiana.  It has since grown and developed to benefit Louisiana's small but growing osteopathic profession.  LOMA serves YOU and all other present and future Louisiana DOs.  A huge stimulus to our osteopathic family is development of VCOM-LA on the ULM campus in Monroe which will seat our inaugural class in 2020!  Please get involved and be a part of Louisiana's osteopathic future!  JOIN LOMA TODAY! more
